Worked OH9AR way up in Lapland, Finland with a booming signal while I was on the way home from a late work night at 0245 Z on 17 last night.  Also FO11A/P  down in Guadalupe who was likewise very loud for so late in the evening.  Band was wide open all over yesterday....Charlie, VR2XMT in Hong Kong has been running EUs and stateside stations most mornings around 1200 Z.  Have worked quite a few English stations very late after dark here in CT the last few nights as well.  Sunspot count of about 125 sure helps on 17!  During midday, very good stateside to stateside conditions, along with the DX.
