Title: Optimum

Hello Folks,

     You don't want to run high humidity and risk a high voltage arc, but you don 't want it to low, and wipe out solid state junk. So what do you do?

     Is there an optimum temp, and humidity for running this mixture of junk?

     Please excuse the typing, I can recieve CW faster than I can type!

Most solid state equipment is not a problem until you open the case and play inside. Then you should wear an ESD strap. Set your humidity so you feel good say 50%

A typical environmental specification for any sort of electronics equipment is something like "-15C to 50C, 0-100%RH, non-condensing". 

Basically, as long as moisture isn't forming on the equipment.  Lower limits are often a result of LCD's which won't display at low temps.  Upper temps are usually restricted by the ability to keep IC"s below their failure point.
