Title: -SOLD- BC-939 Antenna Tuner for BC-610 at NEAR-Fest -SOLD-
Post by: Todd, KA1KAQ on October 11, 2010, 03:12:41 PM
***SOLD***SOLD***SOLD***SOLD***

Been toting this puppy around for 20 years now, hoping to get a nice 610 to set it on. Well, the 610 came and went, the tuner lingers on. Contrary to some rumors, this isn't the tuner for the T-368, though it will work. That would be the TN-339 in lovely battleship gray. doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the 939 in black wrinkle.

This one was made by Deltrola as evidenced by the late war plastic tag. Note that the lower vac cap has been replaced by a fixed plate version complete with heavy buss wire. Looks to be factory. I suspect this unit never saw active duty or if so, very little. Aside from some dust, the inside looks like new.

Overall condition of this unit is VG to EX with only some minor paint loss along the back left louvers and above. There's also a bit of surface rust on one of the chrome plated crank handles, replacements are common and easily removed/replaced.

$375 obo. You can reach me here via PM or by email at my callsign at gmail dotcom. Available for pickup at NEAR-Fest only(or here in NC when I return), no shipping.
