Title: MIT FLEA Post by: WU2D on September 19, 2010, 10:00:15 PM I got down to the MIT Flea to day in beautiful Cambridge Mass. They have one more to go next month. I saw a nice Ranger 2 but really just a few radios. It is more about parts and projects and test equipment and there always is a bunch of weird science stuff, even chemistry stuff, Geiger counters and such. It takes about an hour to do a walk through. Anyway here is my 75 dollar haul. Of note is the nice J-38 key and pair of used but pretty nice looking 4CX250B's.

Good finds there! I really like that J-38 key. As a novice I tried the trick of using a poker chip to simulate a Navy style knob. Since I was using the hum from the Valiant plate transformer as my keying monitor I needed all the help I could get with my keying quality. You got a lot of nice stuff for $75.
