Will someone please define the term "ah-SESS'-Pee !" that apparently started this thread. Or am I  just too old to understand it?

I don't like being left out of what appears to be good bit of humor.

Walt,

In Part 2, when the little cartoony character says he is going to sell out and go to SSB, it kind of sounds like he is saying ah-SESS-Pee.

Walt, I think it's related to the computerized voice and some codec problem that the computer can't say SSB.

What ya gotta do is type "S-S-B"  not ssb.

Same for call letters. Pronouncing "W1UEI"   and "W-1-U-E-I"  sounds much different when using the text to voice software.

Well, because of his B-As.

but where did the sound effects come from?

Go to the site and click the tab that says  make movies;  then scroll down to the bottom and select a scene, and as soon as you do that, a bunch of icons will appear down the left hand side of the page, and the last one down is sounds. Double click it, and it brings up a menu of sounds to add to your script. When you`ve chosen one you want to use, make sure to have your cursor in the right place in your dialog box, and click "apply" in the sounds menu.

Title: Re: The AM Geek
Post by: N3DRB The Derb on April 20, 2010, 05:55:33 PM
Actually I gave you a little too much info, although it will work that way. Just go to "make movies" click on that, and when the page changes, the row of icons will appear at the side, you don`t have to choose a scene first. I was going backwards at the time I did that and that`s how it came up for me. (This is Glo, BTW.)  :D
