Title: Ten Tec Omni 7 on AM Post by: AC4R on April 13, 2010, 05:20:40 PM Anyone running an Omni 7 on AM ? Looking at new rigs, and wondered how the Omni 7 would fare on AM.

When I fully retire and have more time for radio, the O7 will be my first radio purchase. Before that, I had a Jupiter which did well on AM. There were some RF prob- lems that were some my fault and some the rig(mic input by-passing). The Omni 7 sounds like the way to go for me. Am looking at pairing it up with a Alpha 8410 running a 300 watt carrier.
