Title: changing my mind
Post by: N3DRB The Derb on March 25, 2010, 10:21:06 AM
I'm going to be keeping my BUD racks after all. Instead of dumping them, I'm going to break them down to flat panels and store them behind the shelving in the garage. There might come a day where I can drill and blast better than now and I'll be wishing I had kept them.

By breaking them down to flat metal I can make room for Uncle Ray and keep em around...... just in case.  :)

I still have the cabinet from a BTA-1R in the shed.  Thing is, I had to use a skill saw to reduce it to flat panel form.  I assume the Bud cabinets come apart and can be  reassembled without damage.

That RCA cabinet was a monstrosity, but I have some nice reinforced sheet metal stock to construct a homebrew cabinet if I ever have the need.

yah, they just bolt & screw together. I'll put em in cold storage and out of the way of Uncle Ray. I'm probably going to need some racks someday, so why not these?
