Title: B&K TV analyst flying spot film cards
Post by: Opcom on March 02, 2010, 10:14:32 PM
In an effort to save and maybe reprint the plastic cards for the B&K TV Analyst flying spot scanners, I scanned one, but it didn't come out well. I think it is going to have to be photographically reproduced. I have a set, the TV lines, crosshatch, thin lines, dots, other dots.

I did the attached at 600DPI but the problem comes in where the TV lines get to 2.5-4 MHz, the white space isn't white. The characters also have shadows. I guess the scanner was not intended to do slides. I have two working 1077 Analysts, thought it would be fun to play with for ATV etc. The beauty of the instrument is the CRT with very short near-UV phosphor in conjunction with a photomultiplier tube. My call sign or what have you, even the classical Indian Head, could be printed on a transparency along with a test pattern of my own making.

Also looking for a 'free' schematic for the 1076. It needs help. There is also a 1075 model out there but I do not have one of those.
