Title: Propagation getting back to the old normal Post by: K3ZS on February 12, 2010, 04:15:21 PM Today there was F2 propagation all the way to 10 meters. On 40M the daytime short skip is returning. Hope the sun keeps it up and the bands return to what used to be normal type propagation.

There has been lots of TEP and Sporadic E stuff and even some multi-hop E's over the last several days. F layer ionization is still very low. Title: Re: Propagation getting back to the old normal Post by: K3ZS on February 13, 2010, 09:13:02 AM Yes it is still low, but yesterday the propagation on 10M was between California and Pennsylvania with nothing in between. 12, 15 and 17 were open to Europe. From central PA, stations in the Pittsburgh area were booming in on 40M. The 10cm radio solar flux was approaching 100. All good indications of F2.
