Title: NEED INFORMATION ON A DIODE
Post by: W2PFY on December 16, 2009, 11:27:51 PM
The only making on it is SK 3036. Looks to be about a 3 amp diode maybe 250 volts? pig tail type

SK 3036 seems to be a NPN transistor

If it's a two terminal device shaped like a diode, it probably someone's internal part number.

Thanks Pete, your information shows it's a TO3 but what I have is a diode with the same numbers out of an old transistor Bogen amplifier. model NXT 60A  The other diode is good. I don't think I will have too much a problem finding one. I just thought that maybe someone had it in a book somewhere.

I'm trying to fix it for a non profit club.

Many thanks ;D ;D
