Gotta dig that box art. So Hytron HY 40's it is. no audiophool wants these things. :D
Pair of these will do real well @ 750 volts or so. not too much, but enough. (with a 40w dissipation rating) When you come ova to get the Derbaphone, remind me to look, I may have a couple of smaller 7.5v fil transfomas..................

I have to check the current rating, the hytrons want 2.25 amps. I would think that transformer would do that no problem. One of those thor units you gave me the other day is gonna be the plate xfmr.
