Title: EICO 720 Project
Post by: w1vtp on August 27, 2009, 05:33:10 PM
This project seems to be never ending ;D  Anyway, here's a picture of the amp.  Note the 6" scale in front of it.  I am going to bridge the two channels so that I can get the power of both into the Hammond AF transformer (there is a previous post on the hookup).  Very interesting to note the damping factor of 40.  This is much better then the Bogen M60 tube amp of 1.05.

I have uploaded two files.  The first one is the pic.  The second one is an Excel spreadsheet that calculates the damping factor and or the source Z.  It's going to be interesting when I run this through PSpice to see the response.  My friend WB2SKC thinks we'll get a "hump" in the lower end  of the frequency response.  We'll see
