Title: NBC's "The Storm" - 813? on desk
Post by: Tom WA3KLR on July 26, 2009, 11:08:36 PM
In tonight's first episode of "The Storm" there is what looks like an 813 sitting on the desk of the National Weather Bureau character Drexel, a black man.  It was shown several times.

Did anyone else spot this also?

Part II is next Sunday night.

Yeah, Tom, I saw the tube and wondered what the connection might be but grew bored
with the plot shortly after that and turned the TV off...

I can see where HAARP is the basic premise with the 'burning hole' in the atmosphere
long shot they used several times...

I dough that series/show will last long!

I always thought an 813 could burn a hole in something.

I have burned a hole in an 813!

Must have been a square plate one. I watched a friend torture the graphite ones to 4 times their dissipation once a year during CQWW. None ever did that. They would fail after they started burping from the gas.
