Those carry a 1KV max rating for plate modulated service, and 1.25KV for CW and Class B modulator service. So probably 1KV was the design point. That said, military stuff would likely have plenty of safety margin -- especially as it was an aircraft transmitter and would be expected to run at altitude. Seems like the best way to find out is measure the capacitor plate spacing and consult one of the voltage tables. I also think rules of thumb on capacitor plate spacing have been posted here from time to time. |
