Title: UTC pvm-2 output transformer
Post by: marco on March 14, 2009, 08:54:08 AM
hi everybody..

I'm marco from Belgium and an amateur tube amp builder ^^
I just registered here to ask you guys something about my output transformer..

I have UTC pvm-2 .. It's a varimatch tranny..
My question is from which device does the transformer come from? What was it used in..

And what's it worth now? Because it's an old one and somebody asked me these questions because he wanted to buy it..
I'm still thinking about it because the variety of primary and secondary impedances does come in handy sometimes ;)

Thanks for looking at my topic and i hope you can give me some answers..

byeee, marco

Hi Marco,
here attached you can find some infos for your UTC transformer.
You can get more infos from this website: www.bunkerofdoom.com/xfm/index.html
It seems that it was used in Public Address systems.
Regards.
Vincent.
