Title: TX-1 Cap list Post by: Jerry-n5ugw on November 04, 2008, 07:52:33 AM I'm getting ready to buy the Caps. to recap a TX-1 and was wondering if anyone had a list of needed caps handy. I am going to do a monor mod on the audio only. No major rebuild on this one. So if anyone has a list they have used in the past and your willing to share, let her loose.
Title: Re: TX-1 Cap list Post by: KF8XO on November 05, 2008, 07:03:42 PM Hayseed Hamfest has a TX-1 Recap kit that gives you every electrolytic you will need including the multi cap in the ps section. And you have a handful of tubulars, mostly .01 @450v...if you have the manual you can get the values from the parts list. I got those from Mouser. I know there are a couple audio mods here, mine was already done with the W3SCC mods. I lost a cap in the audio section a decided to replace them all. Good luck, some in the audio section a a bit of a bugger.
