Often I receive an AM station from the USA on 3720 early mornings. Like this morning around 06.30 hour our time (04.30 Londen GMT time). The man speaking mostly very long. This morning I heard him again with good signal. My friend Jan (PA3HCO) with his BC 610 were calling him on 3720 in AM. But no reply from that 'Unknow Man'. Who is the man???? often on 3720 with long transmissions in AM???? ??? Later this morning Jan were in QSO with Jean F6AQK on our AM freq. 3705. Also does little monitoring of the freq as they perceive it is not required on crossband..

Normally operate with the VFO, but I like to exercise my old buzzard xtals from time to time. Title: Re: Who is the man? Then I heard (I think) you several times on 3720. You making long transmissions? Sorry, but never I can get your call/name.... I keep an eye on 3720 in the future and try to note where the unknow man is talking about.... And mostly I can hear only 1 (one) man/station speaking on 3720..... no others.... Henk, Band shot this morning with lots of noise and had problems checking into the DX-60 Net on 3870 at 8 AM - everything is fuzzy. I wanted to let you know that we have survived our first week with the German exchange student. Having a 16 year old girl in the house with which is is difficult to communicate with is normal I am told, so all is OK so far. We took her down to Boston to see Blue Man Group yesterday. Mike WU2D On 3870 an AM net? The most AM stations from USA I hear on 3885.... I keep my eyes now evenso on 3870, oke? I understand your communication problem!!! But how she feels, I mean so far from home! When she feels her oke and good in your house, I am sure you can make good contact with her..... You understand Mike? I long haul for readable AM signals into Europe.
