Title: TELCO QUESTION hopefully solved
Post by: flintstone mop on September 04, 2008, 09:12:40 AM
Hello From MOP radio
I'm sure there are some Telco folks who might know if I can make this happen.
I would like to lower the audio level out of my Vonage device. I cannot access any software changes within the box. Sooooo this means that it's gotta happen outside of the box. We have to remember that the ringing voltage has to be maintained. I just want to lower the audio only.
I'm thinking of using an old 'network' (remember those? All of those wires??) out of a good old regular telephone. Wrong direction?
Any info would help.

New Entry 9-5-08:
Apparently lowering audio levels from a telephone is an unheard of task. It was always the need for more volume.
This particular situation can be 'adjusted' by Vonage to the interface at home. It is not a user accessible function.
Thanks
Fred
