Post by: WA1GFZ on June 05, 2008, 10:03:23 PM
Tonight I was on 75 with HPSDR and class A amp
Jim WA1UQM running 810 modulators so must have been close to class B
Tom Vu running a 4-1000A in class C

Later Bob K1KBW doing Class E

The HPSDR transmitter sounded FB on AM - better than your Viker CDC ... SSB sounded good as well. Probably first time I've heard an SSB transmitter with third order products > 50 dB down! Look forward to hearing it driving a BIG linear.

TNX Jay....remember the EV664 I bought at Deerfield. I decided to use it on the sdr stuff. Well you were only hearing about -40 DB last night. Not enough power supply or heatsink yet. It does look sice on the spectrum display.
