Yes, that little item does belong with the 90711 and, by the way, I assume you know how rare those 90711's are! Congratulations. The normal 90711 output is low-Z; the little device is a "high impedance adapter" in case you're driving something that requires hi-Z. You plug the adapter into the 90711 output and there are various plug configurations on the bottom that plug into the crystal socket of whichever transmitter you are using. There you have it! :-) Here is my Millen station: http://www.isquare.com/personal_pages/millenstation.htm Great old stuff! 73, Bob WØYVA http://www.isquare.com/personal_pages/ras-hardware.htm Title: Re: Millen Part Post by: Joe Long on April 19, 2008, 09:55:55 AM Yo Bob.Thanks for the info.A friend who who scraps metal dropped it off the other day.He said the box fell apart when he picked it up so he just put it in the back of his pickup and drove around for a couple of days with it there.Unfortunatly he broke the main knob and put some small dents and scratches on it.The inside of it was spotless. I think it was still brand new when he found it.It looks like the one you found that was new with the same tags. I'll add some pics. TNX Joe NM1V

I had one of those VFOs and lost track of it when I moved some 25 years ago. Gosh, I wish I hadn't lost it! I could put it to good use today Al |
