Helping those in need is a tenet of the faith.
The sign in question refers to same-s3x blessings (specifically, blessing a marriage ceremony), which is outside of the core beliefs of the faith. So, I have done my best to clear this up without offending anyons and and hope to avoid the wrath of the moderators. As to whether this uncovers a hidden agenda or of SSB (slopbucket) proponents is best not discussed further! --added 3/16/08 - 9:21 PM CST - found out that SSB also means SS 'benefits' -such as healthcare, tax, etc. Maybe that is what the sign meant.. who knows..
