Aw c'mon!   Don't tell me you were going to go ahead and cough up 30 or 40 dollars for a tone capacitor from a Pre-CBS Strat?

amazing! my guitar tone comes from my hands, which i actually use working with tools to make a living. the rest of my patented tone is in my pants, HA! how about reading a Mel Bay guitar lesson or two instead of worrying about a silly capacitor in your axe? NOTHING one does to a guitar will make you a bettter musician. all that gooey gear only gets "tone". you still need to be able to play the darn thing. the greatest most soulful Jazz Clarinet ever played by a human was done by Lester Young on a tin student model Selmer. it wasn't the horn- it was the player.
