The insurance company paid off, but the adjuster just could not understand why he would need to have more than one radio on at a time. ??? We all know how crazy those ham radio guys are.... You don't even have to have them plugged in. My old computer got zapped even though I had unplugged it from the a.c. power mains and disconnected the dial-up phone line connection I had then, well before the storm hit. Possibly he surrounded himself with Globe Kings, R-390's, SX-28, etc etc. No different than any of us right? And of course, if he bought the above radios, he needs to have a pretty sizable spare toob inventory. Like I said, very possibly the authorities are being too hard on the poor fellow........ |
