Now, this also begs the question: What are the trees in the antenna field doing to the efficiency of the antenna? They MUST be absorbing some of the signal. They were left there to absorbe RF, thereby preventing reflections effecting the measurements of antenna performance. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
Only used that range for VHF units for aircraft. (possibly some HF stuff but I wasn't privvy to that). |
