Title: V2 clipper circuit
Post by: WA1GFZ on December 12, 2007, 02:58:38 PM
The clipper circuit failed in my V2-CDC The question is do I fix it or yank it. Provides protection if drive fails and for CW mode but does it cause distortion in any way? I yanked the tube to get back on. IO found the level pot very hard to turn so suspect it has bit the big one.

So if it is working properly it should not hurt modulation as long as the grid drive is in place. I like protection.
