Title: best TX tube protective material
Post by: N3DRB The Derb on November 26, 2007, 09:04:50 AM
run down to yer local home depot and grab this pink stuff, in whatever  size you need for the tubes you have. as you can see it comes in a huge roll that you wrap around each tube as muh as you think you need, then tape shut and cut the excess. I think a 50 ft roll costs about 3 or 4 bucks. way cheaper and better than bubble wrap. I wrapped up my 811's and 572B's to put em away until teh gonset amp is finished and ready. It has raised vertical ridges that grip the glass really well.

We got this stuff to insulate our outside cat house but it works much better for toobs. See pictures.
