Your signal has improved noticably since you put up for new antenna.
That is a funny looking guitar tuner though. ;D Title: Re: Big Tuna Baby Post by: flintstone mop on November 15, 2007, 12:31:09 PM I'm sure the bread slicer is a bigun, but I always get into the vacuum variable for the high voltage high curretn moments of radio. I know DERB will say that vac variable are gay, but what the heck!

It is possible that Slab might be a little jealous. How big is your transmitter? ;) Title: Re: Big Tuna Baby Post by: The Slab Bacon on November 26, 2007, 01:48:16 PM Melt this one slab I wonder how much juice it would take to belt one of those down? :P The components definitely rate high on the cool scale. Title: Re: Big Tuna Baby Post by: WA1GFZ on November 26, 2007, 04:27:56 PM Hey Joe Do you have two of those inductors? I need a couple to build another tuner.
Title: Re: Big Tuna Baby Post by: ab3al on November 26, 2007, 07:00:29 PM well the spacing on the smaller cap is 1/4 inch the other is 5/8 inch.. the big one came from a 10 kw transmitter. the other i dont know. anyway you slice it. (pun intended) If I have made it this long with a 3kw mutha effing junk tuna I should be ok fine with this one.

I have that one and a mccartney edition along with about 8 bcrich us hand made custom shop models Title: Re: Big Tuna Baby Post by: Ed/KB1HYS on November 27, 2007, 08:27:38 AM Hey Ed. I have yet to buy anything from Epay. You just gots to git up offa yo ass and walk a few hamfests. I have found all of my parts for everything that i have built at local hamfests. You just gots to go out and look. And besides the festers are also good for a little social activity as well. Epay is a good example of paying for convenience.
