Nice! Your signal has improved noticably since you put up for new antenna.

That is a funny looking guitar tuner though. ;D

I'm sure the bread slicer is a bigun, but I always get into the vacuum variable for the high voltage high curretn moments of radio. I know DERB will say that vac variable are gay, but what the heck!

That has to be the BIGGEST air variable capacitor that I have ever seen...

I guess that's Mr. Cap to us....

Melt this one slab

I wonder how much juice it would take to belt one of those down?  :P

The components definitely rate high on the cool scale.  It is possible that Slab might be a little jealous.

How big is your transmitter?  ;)

well the spacing on the smaller cap is 1/4 inch  the other is 5/8 inch.. the big one came from a 10 kw transmitter. the other i dont know.  anyway you slice it. (pun intended)  If I have made it this long with a 3kw mutha effing junk tuna I should be ok fine with this one.

thanks for the compliment on the guitar.  I have that one and a mccartney edition  along with about 8 bcrich us hand made custom shop models

I guess fortunately or UN fortunately for HAM fests, eBay is a source, although you're going to pay a higher price. Where did the good deals go? And the treasures under the table?

Phred,
I have yet to buy anything from Epay. You just gots to git up offa yo ass and walk a few hamfests. I have found all of my parts for everything that i have built at local hamfests. You just gots to go out and look. And besides the festers are also good for a little social activity as well. Epay is a good example of paying for convenience.
