Joe Walsh, WB6ACU, AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
guitarist for the rock band the Eagles, donated an autographed copy of the new Eagles album, "Long Road Out of Eden"; each member of the band will autograph the album cover. This is the Eagles' first album of all new material since 1979. The album had an opening bid of $50 -- 24 bids later, it sold for $980. Yeup, another thousand bucks from dear Joe, too bad we just choke up every time we have to remember he's an AMer, so let's just forget that part and give him a brick on the sidewalk. |
