Thanks,
Jason

Tube data is all over the Web, including for the 4-1000. Google is your friend.

Actually, not so much out there for the 4-1000a, or the y448, hence why I asked.

I usually look to Duncan Amps, then google, but hadn't had much luck.

A Google search using the terms "4-1000 Tube Data"  yielded

http://www.radiowrench.com/sonic/so02018.html
http://www.g8wrb.org/tetrodes.php
http://www.qsl.net/nt8n/project.htm

on the first three links. All of them had complete 4-1000 data sheets. Google is your friend.

And then there's Frank's Electron Tube Data Sheet Database. Here's Sheet 4:

Hmmm, google was not so much my friend for adding the "a" in 4-1000a, go figure.

Thanks again!

The 110 degree heat here is whats whipped me!

I have many, many parallel projects, and not nearly the time.

Did the DX-100B whip you and you've gone to another project now?

Nope, nope, too hot to ride the bike... I have something I'm going to try today on the dx-100, hopefully this nails it!

But yes, I heated up leftovers for lunch Friday by tossing the freezer bag out onto the patio concrete. Yesterday afternoon, Because it was 110, I broiled some sausages with nothing but solar radiation... Put 'em in pyrex dish, wrapped it up good with some cling wrap, set it all on a black-painted piece of metal, and aimed a mirror at the top of of 'em... 20 minutes later it smelled like I had the grill going out there. Hour and twenty later I brought 'em in with a potholder, the edges were browned!
