Title: Solid State Design for the Radio Amateur
Post by: Ian VK3KRI on August 30, 2007, 10:17:10 PM
When I grabbed my copy of this to check, I'm amazed to find that this book is 30 years old - which probably explains why my shack copy is held together with sticky-tape from 25 years of my use.

I probably learnt more (or at least remembered more) from this book than any electronics text I read at school.

No it doesn't cover tubes, and frankly, solid state RF has come quite a way from when this was originally published, but I'd rate this as the one of the best publications to come out of the ARRL
