Title: GE Ham News/RCA Radio Servicing News
Post by: Todd, KA1KAQ on August 30, 2007, 12:43:38 PM
These small booklets were published monthly/bi-montlhy by both General Electric and RCA, post war through the 60s/70s IIRC. They contained interesting articles on everything from transmitters to amplifiers, construction as well as technical 'white paper' information. A lot of information chocked into a small publication.

Since many amateur were also engineers and techs, it was a great way for these companies to keep themselves in the limelight, promoting their products while providing a services to the technically-eager and anxious masses.

Like QST magazines, many of us have multiple copies and gaps to fill. They are often available online, sometimes in complete years, other times by the month. Stay tuned for a list of available issues for trade.

HA! Never saw Jane Russell in a QST!

Some articles from GE Ham News and RCA Ham Tips in the Tech > Tutorial Section of The AM Window Web Site. Good stuff. Would like to add some more.
