Title: Shaft Reducers Post by: David, K3TUE on September 16, 2006, 11:38:31 PM Anyone know where I can procure one or two shaft reducers? Specifically, I need to tune a 3/8" shaft with a 1/4" knob/reduction drive.

The tubing is sized so that each successive size nests inside the next. This allows the making of reducers/expanders to adapt just about any size. I discovered this tubing 30 years ago and have used it for rebushing worn carb bodies on SU's , rebushing distorted HRO & KWS1 tuning knobs (after boring out on a lathe), etc, etc. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
