Title: Big Brother is Scanning You
Post by: k4kyv on September 03, 2006, 03:44:23 AM
Could this up-and-coming technology have anything to do with the increasing tendency nationwide, for example, to card 70-years-old patrons who purchase cigarettes and beer?  Once the public is conditioned to accept this as "normal," our every monetary transaction will eventually be entered into a universal database.

Hello All,
I had to give a conveniance store my driver's license in order to buy a 12 pack of beer one time. I am twice the legal drinking age, and show it. She punched the number into the regestar. When I asked if I didn't look the drinking age, she said that it didn't matter.
She had to take ALL driver's numbers on beer purchases. Said to me that the store was close to a state hiway. And that it was state law.

Best Regards,

LURD
