Title: 2 on 7285 and 2 on 7294 in AM Post by: pe1mph on May 09, 2026, 02:15:39 AM Hello AM Lovers,
Yesterday morning May 8 I heard, in AM: 2 stations on 7285 khz 2 stations on 7294 khz Time +/- 4:00 utc, by me +/- 6:00 hour I listen on these webreceiver: http://rffryslan.vosrx.nl:8073/ Evenso I could here the stations on my own radio, but weaker.... Sorry I heard no calls or I missed them, from the two stations on 7285. Hi hi both going some khz qsy, thats better. On +/- 7290 I receive often a 'naked' carrier.... Both on 7285 had weak to fair signals by me. But the two stations on 7294, no problem to hear!! I heard Paul KA1ANX and Don K4KYV talking. I need some help from 'AM-lover Dave' because I note the call from Paul first not correct.... Yes often for European AM-lovers it is difficult to get USA calls direct correct.... I were wondering how good I heard Paul and Don on 7294 khz. It is early mornings (by me) a good freq. to use for AM stations! So commings days I listen early mornings again around 7295 khz! Perhaps I hear you (reader from this posting) there.... hi, hi..... ;) Early mornings I can receive stations on SW. Till the Sun Panels going on, then it is over to receive weak signals.... :'( Greetings, Henk / pe1mph Dokkum / The Netherlands Title: Re: 2 on 7285 and 2 on 7294 in AM Post by: pe1mph on May 16, 2026, 02:10:53 AM Carrier on 7291 khz! Please do not use 7290 khz for AM..... Last night I heard on a webreceiver in Usa a station calling cq. Not possible to hear him on my own receiver.... For example 7285 and 7295 are better frequenties.... See screenshots below... Greetings, Henk / pe1mph Dokkum / The Netherlands |
