Can anyone recommend a decent/robust set of alignment tools?

You didn't mention for what but I'll assume for electronic related work.

Good start with the link below. Depends on how far down into your pocket you want to reach.
GC has been around for a long time. I got some of their alignment tools back in the early 70's and they are in good shape and usability today.

I use GC Electronics tools as well.

Had them since the 80s, recently bought a new set, just in case.

yes, electronic/radio/tv alignment tools.  I have a set somewhere. it seems I have misplaced it.
