Title: Johnson Viking Valiant Bandswitch photo Post by: G4OJY on December 29, 2023, 06:09:34 AM Hello
I am currently rebuilding a basket case Johnson Viking valiant where the previous owner decided to take the band switch to bits and remove the PA coils. Does anyone have a good hi res picture of the band switch showing which switch tap the various wires from the pa coils connect to. I have seen all the online pics, but they are still a little unclear when zoomed in. Thanks Andy G4OJY Title: Re: Johnson Viking Valiant Bandswitch photo Post by: wa2fxm on December 30, 2023, 10:57:01 PM Andy,
Here's some shots of the bandswitch from a junker Valiant that I have. Can't say whether the switch has been modified or not. Hope this helps. thanks for the pics, that does help a lot. Mine is a home assembled outfit. Not the best construction I've seen. Cheers |
