Title: Moved to Northest Tennessee Post by: k2cu on January 01, 2021, 10:48:25 PM Been moving around for the past four years in rented homes with no hope for getting on the air. Well, that has ended and we bought a house in Jonesborough Tennessee, just west of Johnson City, in the very northeast corner of the state. Once the many honey do's associated with moving into new digs are cleared up, I will be reassembling my station and getting back on the air. Meanwhile, I was wondering if there were any others who check into this forum who live in this region. There are a couple of local clubs for more general Ham radio activities, and I plan on checking them out, too.

I can hear 2nd and 3rd harmonics here. So much for hoping to find an abandoned transmitter.....

You may want to look up Ken-WB4AM who lives in Sevierville, TN. Ken use to live up near us in Parkesburg, PA., but he and wife Gina moved down to Tennessee to be closer to family. Ken is a big AM'er and enjoys the mode quite a bit. Good luck at your new QTH! Joe-W3GMS |
