Title: International Rectifier SOLID STATE Tube replacements
Post by: kc2we on February 13, 2017, 10:00:19 PM
Attached is an IR data sheet (2 page pdf file) and information for Solid State Tube replacements made by International rectifier, such as the ST-14 (IN2389) for the 5U4GB. Chart lists the differences between various models. Some are almost identical in rating; some with internal resistor to simulate internal tube IR drop, others have no resistor. Didn't see data sheet like this anywhere in AM Phone. Your mileage may vary, as they say.

Good stuff for people wanting to SS their rectifiers when upgrading boat anchors or tube type test instruments.

Also, here is a related thread:

Thank you guys for the data sheet and the link!

Anyone else use the ST-12 in place of the 8020?
Really nice to find the data sheet.
