Title: Little eye-candy: NIB UTC S34 swinging choke
Post by: w1vtp on August 12, 2015, 05:45:32 PM
Dunno how I connected with this but is probably the only new / old piece of iron I own.  Oh yes, I have a Triad M12 AL mod transformer.

Couldn't resist opening up the box to see what I got.

Almost good enough for my ART13 project

Al

Hi Al,

As we all know, its doing no good in the box not connected!  Build that ART-13 supply and get the beast on the air.  Al-W2OBJ (SK) used an ART-13 almost each week on the AWA PM-AM net so there you go!!!

Hello Al,

I still have two of the companion UTC S-33 smoothing chokes, NIB, never used.  Let me know if you think one or both might complement your power supply project.  The boxes have some shelf rash, but the chokes are pristine.
