Title: Gary (K6GLH)'s 1921 station Post by: K6JEK on August 22, 2012, 07:38:44 PM Gary's 1921 station transmits AM using a technique I'd only recently learned about. It's simple. It's crude. Before that Gary keys the spark transmitter. Pretty nice.

The RCA publication he mentioned in the video was highly regarded by co-founder and friend Jack Williamson W3GC (SK) of B&W fame. In fact, years ago when I first met Jack he gave me that exact book to make a copy for myself. It was in that publication that Jack built his first transmitter and that transmitter now belongs to the AWA. Many thanks Jon for putting Gary's link here so folks could enjoy it.
