Title: 10M AM Open Post by: Pete, WA2CWA on December 30, 2011, 01:35:35 PM 10M AM has been open to Europe over the last several days. Not great conditions, but worked several stations. Several French stations on 29.1 operating FM. At one time on 29.0 when calling CQ, heard two Spanish CB-type stations (my Spanish is rusty, but no calls, "roger-beep" sounds, etc.) peaking out of the South/Southwest. Another CQ call and they both disappeared.

Worked New Mexico and Alaska on AM just past sunset tonight. Some ZLs coming through on SSB down the band. Title: Re: 10M AM Open Post by: KB2WIG on January 10, 2012, 01:50:04 PM Shes a open now... lots 'o beacons and SSB but no AM.

Title: Re: 10M AM Open Post by: KE6DF on February 03, 2012, 03:50:14 PM Seems like most of the AM action on 10M has faded away.
I still hear some side band stuff, but not AM. Title: Re: 10M AM Open Post by: KX5JT on February 03, 2012, 04:26:22 PM A lot of it has moved to 15 meters between 21.420 and 21.440 -- seems that 15 meter band is quite a bit less squirrely.
Title: Re: 10M AM Open Post by: Pete, WA2CWA on February 03, 2012, 05:27:12 PM Lots of TEP activity on 10 and 15 meters right now. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
