Title: For those that read fiction...
Post by: W7TFO on November 13, 2011, 03:02:43 PM
The book "Thunderstruck", by Eric Larson is a good read.

A murder whodunnit with early radio for good measure.  Some actual happenings vectored in.

A friend just handed me a copy last Friday. He's not a ham but he really enjoyed the historical aspects of the early development of radio. I'm looking forward to starting it this week.

Well, Fred, it has a lot of technical words, and a few pix. :D

I'm sure the AMFonies would love to take up a collection and get you some tutoring. ;)

I'd even send you a copy if you promise no slopbucket for the new year..... :-X
