I have some 813's, will check if any are NOS. Probably RCAs. Check tomorrow Saturday, and reply.

I can only ask, how can I tell a NOS from one that has had very light use and is in a box with the excelsior? Only if it is still taped up, maybe, if the used tape. I don't know.

scratches on the base or pins is one way although it would have had to have been in a socket at least once at the factory!

.. help me out here. but I will look in the morning.

If its the same brand and era/datecode as the box its got a chance of being NOS. I also look for any marks on the base as well as plate cap but thats far from foolproof as only the military usually used the twist lock sockets.

I looked at all of them and all have been used to some degree. It was worth the effort though. Most were spares I hauled off with a BC rig, could have been lucky.
