Reminds me of being snug in the house as you mention, woodfire burning, radios crackling, nowhere particular to be. Heavy snow falling outside muffling everything and covering it all in a clean, white blanket. Always looked forward to the first, big snow storm. Then having to go out the next day to cut a path through it with a shovel, clear the driveway, and so on. The first storm or two wasn't too bad, but by the third or fourth dumping I was ready for spring and green grass. Looks like you got dumped on well! |
