There are a lot of people that know how to do good audio amps. Mr. Pass is one of the figures at that event last year. Too bad it is too far away for me to deal with.

He once wrote a great tutorial on the history of the 6L6 tube. Today he is part of the guitar amp company Metasonix where tubes are used extensively in all sorts of gadgets besides just guitar amps. You might say that Eric is the HLR of the audio world using tubes.
