Title: Speaker re-cone source?
Post by: KC2YOI on July 03, 2010, 08:08:14 AM
Good morning, ( for the moment )
I have a Zenith 14" speaker I would like to save. It needs to be re-coned. The coil is intact. Any Ideas as to who to use and what a fair ball park cost would be?
All the other spkrs I have here are comm. service w/ narrow freq resp.
                                                               Thanks, DJ

Share that info, if it's available. I've used Creative Acoustics in Raleigh NC a couple of times over the last 20 years with good results.

I'd be curious to know this reconing source too.  I have a 1938 Philco speaker that needs to be redone.
