Title: AM Fone on for the iPod Touch
Post by: Mike/W8BAC on September 16, 2009, 09:03:59 AM
I'm having trouble logging on to the forum with my iPod. The Touch (and iPhone) use a browser called Safari. I can log in successfully but any further keystrokes send me back to the log in screen.

I'm wondering if anybody here uses an iPhone or Touch to log on here. I'm wondering if I might be doing something wrong. Thanks!

Mike

I remember there was a text only version URL to allow access for devices like yours.  I will look into it further.

BINGO!

Thanks Jay, it looks (for now) I have found the problem. I had to turn on cookies. The default setting was off. The forum looks great and works fine business HI HI on the Touch. I hope this helps others. Thanks for the help and you might post that URL anyway should others need it.

Thanks Gary and Jay. The Safari browser dose not give you all of the function Fone offers but it's close.

I'll use it mostly to monitor the forum while traveling. Posting isn't much fun due to the size of the key pad.
