Actually, band conditions seem quite decent tonight, with no sunspots 75 might be a serious DX band this winter. I've got to swap out the driver tube in the rig, it's gone gassy, pulling way too much plate current and I'm basking in the aroma of overheated bakelite in the shack. Once it cools down it's OK, but it won't survive old buzzard xmissions. Steve, HUZ, strapping signal over here. What are you using for a TX antenna? Gotta work early tomorrow morning so GN all. The dipole is at 60' and the delta loops at 190' and beaming your way. The band was rather noisy tonight, but we had a good turn-out. I signed out at 11:30 est. The band started going long around 10:00 PM with locals fading out. . The west coast probably would have started to come in at about 12 midnight. We'll try again tomorrow night.
