Title: Re: UHF TV CHANNEL QUESTION Post by: KA1ZGC on April 20, 2009, 12:51:16 PM For what it's worth, the actual carrier frequency will be 1.5-2 MHz from the bottom of the channel. The lower sideband is rolled off at about 1 MHz, the upper sideband is left intact. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
So figure in 1 MHz plus some guard band at the bottom of the channel and your carrier frequency winds up being about 658 MHz. Of course, that's for NTSC. ATSC is a different animal. |
