Hello all..yup it's back..so here's the latest..tnx to gud friend Tom W0TDH who keeps me informed via e-mail as to what he's hearing on 10mtrs and because that CY9C DXpedition was causing a BIG time stir..I decided to slide the dial up to 29.000 and take a looksee..this was at approx 1800 UTC yesterday the 12th..well well there's John G3YPZ calling CQ CQ on 29.000 AM..I went back and we settled in for a FB 20minute plus QSO..I had to cut & run due to our shopping time for the XYL & myself..but John kept calling and I really don't know if he hooked up with anyone else.?.most likely though..he was running his EU model DX-100 and using his K3 as rcvr..signals on both ends went from 5/4 to over 5/9..earlier I did hear old time AMer Rick VE6CQ holding court on 15mtrs at 21.318 SSB..he e-mailed me and said he wud try 10mtrs on AM maybe...
So guys & gals der ya go..the "inside scoop" and it ain't no BS..it happened ! gud luk ! 73 de DAVE WB1EAD

Yep, the band was really hopping yesterday. I regret not thinking of making a post here then. I worked Slovenia with my trap vertical antenna, 5 X 9 report, Janez gave accurate reports.

When I listened to 29.0 - 29.1, I didn't hear any AM activity.
